Iron argania, tree of life, Morocco's sun or gold of Morocco. This is what is sometimes called an argan tree, which supplies oil used more and more often in cosmetics.
Argan tree is evergreen, spreading, even up to 10 meters high. He lives up to 450 years. His homeland and the only place of occurrence are semi-arid, ecologically clean areas of Morocco, inscribed on the list of biospherical reserves of UNESCO.
Argan oil is obtained from the fruit of this tree, or more precisely from the seeds that these fruits contain. Pips resemble the shape of almonds and are hidden in the fruit one by one, maximum two - three pieces. Acquiring argan oil is the harder and more arduous task that the branches of the tree are thorny, and the oil itself is extruded in the same way as centuries ago, cold, according to traditional recipes - each fruit is first opened (apparently still only by hand), pitted fruits . However, machines are replacing man in oil pressing, which is not bad news, because in his manual acquisition, water was added to it, thus shortening its vitality. Mechanical oil does not require such an additive, so it can be stored longer.
Unusual properties
Argan oil has unusual properties. It is an extremely rich source of unsaturated fatty acids, these acids constitute 80 percent of the composition of argan oil. In addition, there is a large dose of the vitamin of youth, or vitamin E, present in it in the form of tocopherols. In argan oil you will also find vitamin F.

Due to these properties, argan oil is very often used in cosmetics, both as a standalone preparation and as an ingredient in cosmetics.
If you want to reach for pure argan oil, always apply it to freshly washed, moist skin, because then its ingredients are best absorbed by it. This applies to both the face and the whole body, especially for dry skin, requiring nutrition and lubrication, if we stay in overheated rooms, we have skin damaged by chlorinated pool water. With the use of argan oil you can do a body massage or just rub it into the skin after a shower or bath. Due to its very rich composition and wide properties, argan oil is also suitable for infant skin care. It can be added to the bath. It will perfectly protect our skin if we apply it before and after sunbathing.
