Vaginal infections caused by yeastsCandida albicans.
Composition:
1 vaginal globule contains 100 mg of natamycin.
Action:
A topical antibiotic from the group of polyenes with antifungal activity. It disrupts the synthesis of sterols in the fungal cell membrane. It works for yeastsCandida albicans. The drug is not absorbed through the skin and mucous membranes.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.
Precautions:
Pregnancy and lactation:
The existing data does not indicate that the drug can not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Side effects:
Occasionally hypersensitivity reaction to cetyl alcohol. A slight burning sensation may occur at the application site.
Dosage:
Intravaginal (deep) 1 globule once a day, overnight for 3-6 days.
