Composition:
Liquid extract from camomile baskets (1: 2). Ethanol content: 65-70% v / v.
Action:
Alcoholic extract from chamomile flowers. When used externally, it has anti-inflammatory properties on the skin and mucous membranes. When used orally, it has a relaxant effect, fires.
Contraindications:
Do not use in people allergic to chamomile or other plants from the Asteraceae family (Asteraceae).
Precautions:
Caution is recommended in patients with liver disease, epilepsy and alcoholism. A single dose (5 ml) contains an average of 3.45 ml of alcohol, equivalent to 68 ml of beer or 28 ml of wine. Due to the alcohol content, children should not take the preparation.
Pregnancy and lactation:
It is not recommended to use the preparation without consulting a doctor. Due to the ethanol content, oral use is not recommended in pregnant women or during breastfeeding.
Side effects:
No adverse reactions have been reported so far. Some people may experience a hypersensitivity reaction to chamomile during treatment (eg contact allergy). In people allergic to plants from the Asteraceae family (eg mugwort, wormwood) cross-reaction may occur. Cases of an acute allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock, asthma) have been very rarely reported.
Dosage:
Adults. Oral: 5 ml (1 teaspoon) dissolved in 1/4 glass of water up to 3 times a day. Externally: in the form of a 10% aqueous solution for cosings and rinsing - 1 teaspoon (5 ml) per 1/2 cup of water (approximately 80 ml).
