Traditionally in minor skin lesions, inflammation of the skin, first degree burns.
Composition:
100 g of powder contains 3 g of propolis extract.
Action:
The preparation is traditionally used, whose effectiveness is based only on long-term use and experience. It has a microbial effect, anti-inflammatory and helps healing damage to the skin and mucous membranes. It works mainly on staphylococci and pyogenic strep.
Contraindications:
Allergy to preparations of bee origin (propolis, honey, pollen, royal jelly) or derivatives of benzoic acid. Do not use in people susceptible to allergies, suffering from allergic skin diseases and other allergy-mediated diseases.
Precautions:
People who are allergic to other preparations of bee origin (honey, pollen, royal jelly) may experience rash, erythema, edema or other symptoms of sensitization; stop taking the medicine. Before applying the drug, it is recommended to perform an allergy test, which involves applying a small amount of powder in the ulnar flexion. If swelling, redness and itching of the skin occur within 3-24 h, preparations with propolis extract should not be used. Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
Pregnancy and lactation:
There are no well-controlled studies of the preparation in women during pregnancy and feeding, therefore it is not recommended. Do not use in women prone to allergies.
Side effects:
The following may occur: allergic reactions eg in the form of a rash, erythema; anaphylactic shock. Rare: severe side effects in people allergic to propolis, manifested by swelling of hands, feet, face, lips, mouth, throat, difficulty in breathing.
Dosage:
Outwardly.Adults, the elderly and young people over 12 years: 1-3 times a day covering with a thin layer a place affected by lesions.Children aged 6-12(use with caution and only in justified cases): 1-3 times a day, covering with a thin layer a place affected by lesions. Before the first use, the patient should be instructed to do an allergy test.
