1 g of liquid contains 195 mg of salicylic acid and 98 mg of lactic acid.
Action:
The salicylic acid contained in the preparation has a keratolytic effect, softens and loosens the cornified epidermis, facilitating its exfoliation. Lactic acid is a corrosive agent that destroys the horny layer of the skin.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to salicylic or lactic acid or to any of the excipients. Do not use orally. Do not use in children or patients with diabetes or cardiovascular disorders. Do not use on the face and around the genitals. Do not use if the skin in the surrounding area is damaged or diseased.
Precautions:
Treatment should be discontinued if excessive skin irritation occurs. Protect eyes, respiratory tracts and mucous membranes from the preparation and its vapors. In the event of accidental contact with the eyes or mucous membranes, immediately wash them with plenty of water. Protect the skin surrounding the imprint from contact with the preparation, as it may cause burns. The liquid should be applied only to the imprint. Do not use the product on unaltered healthy skin or damaged skin, because salicylic acid is absorbed through the skin and systemic side effects of salicylic acid may occur (in the case of covering the liquid surrounding the imprint of healthy skin, it should be rinsed immediately with water). Do not use in children (no tests).
Pregnancy and lactation:
There are no studies on use during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Side effects:
Symptoms of irritation and inflammation may occur. Applying the preparation on healthy skin can cause burns and pain.
Dosage:
Outwardly. Adults: soak the legs in warm water for 15-30 minutes, and then after drying, apply the preparation with a brush to the imprint or thickened place on the skin. Be careful not to touch healthy skin. Wait until the preparation dries well. Apply the preparation, if necessary, repeat for several days. Then, wash your legs and remove the imprint. Use with caution to prevent the liquid from dripping from the brush and spilling.
