As an aid to the symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency (with symptoms of leg edema) and in post-traumatic edemas and bruises, in subcutaneous haemorrhages (bruises); also in cases of sports injuries.
Composition:
100 g of Ointment contains 5 g of dry extract from chestnut seeds containing 19% triterpene glycosides calculated as anhydrous escyn and 2 g of dense extract from the flower of arnica and marigold flower.
Action:
The product has been traditionally used with anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling and astringent properties.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to arnica blossom, marigold flower or other complex family plants (Asteraceae=Compositae) or the remaining ingredients of the preparation.
Precautions:
Take special care when using children over 6 years of age. It is not recommended for younger children due to the lack of sufficient data on the safety of the preparation. Due to the content of cetostearyl alcohol and sorbic acid, the preparation may cause a local skin reaction (eg contact dermatitis). Due to the content of propylene glycol, the preparation may cause skin irritation. Due to the content of ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, the preparation may cause allergic reactions (possible late-type reactions).
Pregnancy and lactation:
There are insufficient data on the safety of use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Side effects:
Skin reactions may occur in the form of skin irritation or allergic reactions at the site of application.
Dosage:
Externally on the skin. Lubricate the affected area 2-3 times a day. Use continuously for no more than a few days, in the case of chronic venous insufficiency no longer than 1-2 weeks. In the case of sports injuries (edema and post-traumatic bruises) it is recommended to use within 30 minutes. from their occurrence.
