Symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency, such as leg edema, calf cramps, pruritus, pain and heaviness in the legs. Helpful in varicose veins.
Composition:
Alcoholic extract from fresh, unripe chestnut fruit. 2.5 ml of the extract contains 23 mg triterpene saponins as escin. The product contains 52-62% ethanol.
Action:
A preparation with anti-masculine, anti-edema and toning effects of venous vessels. Escin decreases the activity of lysosomal enzymes, thereby counteracting the degradation of mucopolysaccharides in the vascular wall, excessive vascular permeability and the passage of small-molecule proteins, electrolytes and stromal water.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Children up to 6 years of age.

The safety of use during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established.
Side effects:
Rare irritation of the gastrointestinal mucosa and hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
Dosage:
Oral: 2.5 ml 3 times a day in a small amount of liquid, preferably water.
