Chronic venous insufficiency of various origins, manifested by swelling, calf shrinkage, pruritus, pain and a feeling of heaviness in the legs. Varicose (under the supervision of a doctor).
Composition:
1 tabl fructose contains 100 mg of dry extract from chestnut seeds (containing 22% of escin) and 60 mg of rutoside.
Action:
Chestnut seed extract acts anti-oedematous, increases tonus and reduces vein volume. Rutoside strengthens the capillary walls, reduces their permeability.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Children.
Precautions:
Due to the lactose and sucrose content, the preparation should not be used in patients with rare hereditary galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, rare hereditary disorders associated with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.
Pregnancy and lactation:
In clinical trials involving pregnant women, no adverse effects were observed after chestnut seed extract, although the drug should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding if the benefits to the mother outweigh the potential risk to the fetus or the fed baby.
Side effects:
Rare: stomach irritation, pruritus.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults: 1-2 tabl. 3 times a day, during or after a meal.
