Disorders of lacrimal fluid secretion. Dry eye syndrome.
Composition:
1 g of gel contains 5 mg of polyacrylic acid.
Action:
Moisturizing, conjunctival gel made of a three-dimensional polyacrylic acid skeleton in which water is closed thanks to the electric charge. After instillation of the preparation, at the closing of the eyelids, the gel skeleton is thickened with simultaneous release of a certain amount of water molecules. When the eyelids are opened, the structure of the polyacrylic skeleton is reconstituted with the simultaneous incorporation of water molecules.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.
Precautions:
After instillation of the preparation into the eye, temporary deterioration of vision may occur.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The preparation can be used by pregnant and breast-feeding women.

Usually 1 drop of gel is dropped into the conjunctival sac 3-5 times a day and before bedtime. If the patient uses other medicines for the eyes, the preparation should be administered last after 5 min. since the previous medicine.
