The preparation has been traditionally used in the symptomatic treatment of mild diarrhea.
Composition:
1 tabl contains 370 mg of oak bark.
Action:
The effectiveness of the preparation is based only on long-term use and experience. The catechin tannins bind to amino groups of proteins and form a protective layer on the surface of the intestinal mucosa, which impedes the penetration of water into the intestinal lumen. The peristaltic movement of the intestine is weakened. Tannins also bind to the microbial cell protein, thanks to which they can inhibit the growth of some microorganisms.
