indications:
Pain complaints of various origins of light and medium severity. Ailments associated with colds and flu. Fever.
Composition:
1 tabl enteric contains 325 mg of acetylsalicylic acid.
Action:
Acetylsalicylic acid is an irreversible inhibitor of cyclo-oxygenase. It has anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic effect and reduces platelet aggregation by inhibiting biosynthesis and release of prostaglandins from unsaturated fatty acids. Decreases platelet aggregation by blocking the release of adenosine diphosphoric acid and thromboxane A from thrombocytes2. The release of the active ingredient from the tablet occurs in the alkaline environment of the upper small intestine. After absorption, Acetylsalicylic acid is hydrolyzed to salicylic acid (mainly in the liver), and then coupled with Glycine and glucuronic acid and excreted in the urine as free salicylic acid (10%) and metabolites. Plasma T0,5 acetylsalicylic acid is 15 min, T0,5 salicylic acid increases with increasing dose (for a dose of 300-650 mg is about 3 h, for a dose of 1 g - 5 h, for a dose of 2 g - 9 h).
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients or other salicylates. Hemorrhagic diathesis. Third trimester of pregnancy. Active stomach ulcer and / or duodenal ulcer. Severe heart failure of the liver and kidneys. Bronchial asthma attacks in history due to the administration of salicylates or an active substance with a similar effect, especially NSAIDs. Concurrent treatment with Methotrexate ≥15 mg per week. Use in children up to 12 years of age in the course of viral infections (risk of Reye's syndrome).
Precautions:
Caution use in patients with hypersensitivity to NSAIDs, anti-rheumatic drugs or other allergens, in patients with impaired liver or kidney function, with a history of peptic ulcer and / or duodenum or a history of gastrointestinal or bronchial asthma, chronic respiratory diseases, hay fever, nasal mucous membrane edema (nasal polyps) - risk of hypersensitivity reactions, in patients with an increased risk of bleeding (haemophilia, vitamin K deficiency), deficient in glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase. It should not be administered within 5 - 7 days preceding the planned surgery. Acetylsalicylic acid, even in small doses, reduces the excretion of uric acid. In patients with reduced uric acid excretion, the preparation may cause gout attack.
Pregnancy and lactation:
In the I and II trimester of pregnancy, the preparation can be used only in case of extreme necessity. The preparation is contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy. Do not use acetylsalicylic acid while breastfeeding. Acetylsalicylic acid can affect fertility in women by affecting ovulation. This effect is transient and disappears after discontinuation of the preparation.
Side effects:
Abdominal pain, heartburn, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, potentially life threatening or latent gastrointestinal bleeding, gastric or duodenal ulcer (including perforation), increased risk of bleeding (the effect may be acute or chronic iron deficiency or acute exertional anemia), haemorrhage (post-operative, nasal, gum, genitourinary), haematomas, prolonged bleeding time and prothrombin time, thrombocytopenia, potentially life-threatening cerebral hemorrhage (especially in patients with uncontrolled hypertension and / or concomitant use of anticoagulants), hypersensitivity reactions: asthma, mild to moderate reactions involving the skin, respiratory and cardiovascular system manifested by rash, urticaria, edema (including vasomotor), respiratory distress and heart flares. Acetylsalicylic acid may increase the activity of liver enzymes, urea and creatinine in the blood, hyperkalemia, proteinuria. In patients with reduced uric acid excretion, it can trigger a gout attack.Transient abnormal liver function, renal papillary necrosis and interstitial nephritis may occur rarely (after long-term use of high doses). Very rare: severe hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylactic shock. Prolonged use may cause headaches. Dizziness and tinnitus may be symptoms of overdose.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1-2 tabl. every 4-8 hours, after a meal, washed down with plenty of water. Take the tablets whole. Do not use more than 12 tablets in adults. daily, in children over 12 years of age do not use more than 4 tablets. per day.
