Traditionally as a mild diaphoretic agent in febrile states.
Composition:
100 g of syrup contains 10 g of liquid extract from a mullein flower, lime flower, willow bark and elderberry flower (not less than 0.015% of flavonoids calculated as a hyperoside). The product contains sucrose and alcohol.
Action:
The effectiveness of the preparation is based only on long-term use and experience.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to salicylates, NSAIDs or other ingredients of the preparation. Asthma. Peptic ulcer disease. Severe kidney and liver problems. Coagulation disorders. G-6-PD deficiency. Children.
Precautions:
Due to the ethanol content (0.3 g / 5 ml), the preparation may be harmful for people with alcoholism, liver disease, epilepsy and for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Due to the sucrose content, the preparation should not be used in patients with diabetes mellitus, fructose intolerance, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency or malabsorption of glucose-galactose.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The preparation can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding only in cases where the benefit for the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus. However, due to the content of willow bark and ethanol extract, use is not recommended.
Side effects:
No adverse reactions were observed during the recommended doses. For linden flowers, a single case of occupational sensitization is described, for willow bark hypersensitivity reactions (such as rash, urticaria, dyspnea) and vomiting, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, indigestion and heartburn.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults and children over 6 years: 5 ml 3-4 times a day.
