Composition:
1 g of cream contains 10 mg of clotrimazole. The preparation contains cetostearyl alcohol.
Action:
An imidazole derivative with antifungal activity. The mechanism of action of antifungal Clotrimazole is associated with its inhibitory effect on the synthesis of ergosterol in fungal cells and the effect on cell membrane structures. Clotrimazole works on dermatophytesTrichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton; yeasts -Candida, mold fungi and dimorphic mushrooms. After topical application of the cream to the skin, clotrimazole passes into the epidermis. Higher clotrymazole concentrations occur in the stratum corneum, lower in the spinous layer, and the lowest in the dermis, but it penetrates into the circulatory system in small amounts. The drug is metabolized in the liver to inactive substances excreted in the urine and with faeces.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Do not use vaginally.
Precautions:
Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. Exercise caution in pregnant women and if pregnancy is suspected. Due to the cetostearyl alcohol content, the preparation may cause a local skin reaction (eg contact dermatitis).
Pregnancy and lactation:

Side effects:

Dosage:
