The preparation is used traditionally to relieve symptoms in states of nervous tension, as a sedative and in periodic difficulties with falling asleep on the nervous background.
Composition:
1 capsule contains 60 mg of dry valerian root extract, 40 mg of dry hop cone extract and 40 mg of dry passionflower herb extract; the capsules contain soybean oil, soy lecithin and sorbitol. 100 g oral liquid contains 4.5 g valerian root extract, 36 g hop cone tincture and 45 g passion flower tincture; the liquid contains sorbitol and ethanol.
Action:
The effectiveness of the preparation is based only on long-term use and experience.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation, including peanuts or soy (caps). Valerine intolerance. Hereditary fructose intolerance.
Precautions:
Due to the lack of clinical data, do not use in children <12 years. The oral fluid contains about 60% ethanol (not more than 2.56 g of ethanol in 5 ml, equivalent to 65 ml of beer and 27 ml of wine), therefore it should not be used in patients with severe liver damage, alcoholism, epilepsy, brain damage , mental illness.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The drug is not recommended during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Side effects:
Gastrointestinal disorders have been observed in people who do not tolerate the valerian root. In individual cases, nausea and tachycardia occurred after administration of the passionflower herb.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults and children> 12 years: under tension 2 capsules or 5 ml of liquid 2-3 times a day; in difficulty in falling asleep: 2-3 capsules or 10 ml of liquid once, half an hour before bedtime. Do not use for more than 2 weeks.
