Composition:
1 tabl contains 200 mg of hymekromon.
Action:
Hymekromon is a coumaric derivative. Spasmolytic activity on the smooth muscles of the bile duct and Oddi sphincter, increases bile secretion and accelerates its excretion through the bile ducts. This action reduces bile stasis and related problems and impairs the formation of cholesterol deposits and gallstones. After oral administration, the drug is easily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. The highest concentration in plasma reaches after 2-3 h. T0,5 in plasma is about 1 hour. It is excreted in the urine.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to hymekromon or any other component of the preparation. Obstruction of the bile ducts. Severe hepatic and / or renal failure. Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease.
Precautions:
In the event of symptoms of liver failure and / or kidneys, the drug should be discontinued.
Pregnancy and lactation:
There are no data on the safety of the preparation during pregnancy and lactation. Use of the preparation during pregnancy is only allowed if the benefit for the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
Side effects:
The following may occur: diarrhea, feeling of fullness or tightness in the abdomen, hypersensitivity reactions.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults: 200-400 mg 3 times a day for 2 weeks. The drug administered 1/2 hour before a meal. The tablets should not be divided.
