The preparation is traditionally used as an adjuvant after acute and chronic liver diseases, caused by the action of alcohol, drugs, toxic substances (eg plant protection products) to relieve symptoms such as bloating, belching, feeling of fullness in the epigastrium.
Composition:
100 g of the preparation contains 1.097 g- 1.341 g of dry extract from Milk thistle, which corresponds to 0.7 g of silymarin, calculated as silybin.
Action:
Preparation of natural origin with stabilizing effect on the membranes of liver cells. The effectiveness of the preparation is based only on long-term use and experience.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the constituents or plants of the complex family (Compositae / Asteraceae) eg chamomile, arnica. Do not use in patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance.
Precautions:
The preparation is not intended for the treatment of acute poisoning. During and after therapy, agents that are harmful to the liver should be avoided. It is not recommended for use in children up to 12 years of age (due to lack of tests).
Pregnancy and lactation:
The safety of use during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established, therefore it is not recommended.
Side effects:
Poor laxative effects may occur during use. Allergic reactions to the components of the suspension are also possible.
Dosage:
Oral: Adults and children over 12 years of age: 2 teaspoons of the preparation 3 times daily (approximately 30 ml per day). The recommended daily dose is from 200-400 mg of silymarin, calculated as silybin. Shake before use.
