Composition:
1 suppository contains 0.1 g of papaverine hydrochloride and 0.015 g of dry extract from the berry wolfberry leaf.
Action:
A combined preparation with spasmolytic activity. Papaverine relaxes smooth muscles by directly affecting muscle cells. Atropine, contained in the extract of the shouting leaf, works cholinolitycznie. The product reduces the tone of the smooth muscle of the gastrointestinal tract, bile ducts, ureters and bladder.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Prostatic hyperplasia, uroprotic obstruction, bladder atony, pyloric stenosis, obstruction and intestinal atony, narrow-angle glaucoma.
Precautions:
Particularly cautiously used in patients with cardiovascular disease, diseases of the airways, impaired renal or liver function.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Do not use during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Side effects:
Atropine may cause: elevation of intraocular pressure, mydriasis, photophobia and impaired vision, dry mucous membranes, reduction of perspiration, constipation, urinary retention, gastro-oesophageal reflux, arrhythmia, allergic reactions, increased body temperature. Papaverine can cause: gastrointestinal disturbances, headache and dizziness, facial flushing, liver dysfunction.
