Composition:
One capsule contains 60 mg of alverine citrate.
Action:
Synthetic isoquinoline derivative with spasmolytic activity, stronger than papaverine. It works directly on smooth muscle (muscular effect muscular) and indirectly on the way to inhibit the inflow of Calcium ions into the smooth muscle cells. Due to the lack of parasympatolytic (atropine) action, the drug can be used in patients with glaucoma and prostatic hyperplasia.
