Syrup: helpful in catarrh of the upper respiratory tract accompanied by cough.tablets: helpfully in coughing.
Composition:
100 ml of syrup contains 15 g of liquid extract from herb thyme. It contains 5.6% by volume alcohol. 1 tabl contains 100 mg of liquid extract from thyme herb.
Action:
Preparation of natural origin with expectorant and antibacterial effects. It increases the secretion of dilute mucus in the bronchial tree and thus facilitates expectoration of secretions from the respiratory tract.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Due to the alcohol contentsyrup should not be used in the case of alcoholism.tablets should not be used in children under 6 years of age.
Precautions:
Due to the alcohol contentsyrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease, epilepsy, diabetes and diseases or damage to the nervous system.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Due to the lack of clinical trials and alcohol content in syrup should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Side effects:
In individual cases, skin allergic reactions (rash, urticaria) and Quincke's edema may occur, and in the case oftablets swelling of the throat, tongue, lips and larynx.
Dosage:
Orally.Syrup: adults: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) 3 times a day; children from 6 yrs .: 8 ml (1.5 teaspoons) 3 times a day. The preparation should be taken at regular intervals.tablets: adults: suck 2-3 tabl. several times a day; children over 6 years old: suck 1-2 tabl. several times a day, at regular intervals.
