Traditionally used prophylactic agent during periods of reduced immunity. Supportive in mild inflammation of the upper respiratory tract with symptoms of cough (eg in the course of a cold).
Composition:
100 g of syrup contains: 5 g of combined extract (1: 4,4) from: plantain leaf (60%), grindelia herb (20%), rose fruit (20%); 3 g of thyme herb extract (1: 4) and 2 g of purple coneflower herb (1: 1). The product contains ethanol and sucrose.
Action:
The product is used as a stimulating immune system and as an aid in cough. The effectiveness of the preparation is based only on long-term use and experience.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Hypersensitivity to family plantsAsteraceae. Progressive systemic diseases, tuberculosis, leukemia, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune diseases, AIDS or HIV infection.
Precautions:
Caution should be exercised in children aged 3-7 (no well-controlled studies); use only in justified cases. Do not use the product in children under 3 years. The preparation in 1 teaspoon contains approx. 65 mg of ethanol. The preparation contains sucrose - patients with rare inherited disorders associated with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency should not take the preparation.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The safety of use during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established. Use only if the anticipated benefits to the mother outweigh the potential risk to the fetus and the child.
Side effects:
Hypersensitivity reactions (rash, pruritus) may occur.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults and children> 12 years: 15 ml 3-4 times a day. Children 7-12 years: 15 ml twice a day. In justified cases, children aged 3-7: 5 ml 3-4 times a day. The treatment should last no longer than 10 days. Prophylactically use half of the therapeutic doses - adults and children> 12 years: 15 ml twice a day; children 7-12 years: 15 ml once a day; in justified cases, children 3-7 years: 5 ml 2 times a day. Preventive cure should last no longer than 20 days.
