Preparation traditionally used in catarrh of the upper respiratory tract, tiring so-called "dry cough", difficult expectoration.
Composition:
5 ml of syrup contains 498 mg of thyme herb extract, 348 mg of primrose tincture, and 87 mg of sulfogluactole. The product contains 7.7% (v / v) ethanol and sorbitol.
Action:
An expectorant whose effectiveness is based only on long-term use and experience.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Asthma. It should not be used in children who have been suffering from acute laryngitis (krup).
Precautions:
Due to the ethanol content, syrup is not recommended for children under 6 years of age, patients suffering from liver disease, epilepsy or alcoholism, as well as for pregnant and breast-feeding women. Due to the sorbitol content, the preparation should not be used in patients with rare hereditary fructose intolerance.
Pregnancy and lactation:
There are no data on the use of the preparation during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Side effects:
Due to the content of thyme herb there is the possibility of allergic reactions (anaphylactic shock, angioedema). Gastrointestinal disorders; nausea and vomiting.
Dosage:
Orally.Children over 6 years: 1/2 teaspoon (about 2.5 ml).Adults: 1 teaspoon (about 5 ml) 3-4 times a day after eating.
