The preparation has been traditionally used for a cold with accompanying cough.
Composition:
100 g of liquid contains: 40 g of herbal tea herb juice, 15 g of tincture inflorescence of linden, 15 g of Licorice root tincture, 10 g of mint leaf tincture, 20 g of thyme herb extract. The alcohol content is 40% -50%.
Action:
The herbal medicine traditionally used as an expectorant and secretolytic. The effectiveness of the drug is based only on long-term use and experience.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to menthol, thymol and family plantsLamiaceae. Do not use in children after undergoing acute narrowing laryngitis / tracheitis.
Precautions:
Prolonged use of licorice root may cause a reduction in the concentration of potassium ions in the blood. The drug contains up to 50% alcohol, that is up to 1.01 g in one dose (2.5 ml), which corresponds to 25.4 ml of beer or 10.5 ml of wine per dose. The use of the drug may be harmful for people with alcoholism. Alcohol content should be considered before being used in people at risk, for example patients with liver disease or epilepsy and in children. Due to the alcohol content, it is not recommended for use in children <7 years of age, while in children aged 7-12 years, the drug may be used only in justified cases.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Do not use during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Side effects:
Rarely: hypersensitivity reactions, heartburn.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults and children> 12 years: 2.5 ml 2-4 times a day. Children 7-12 years: 1.5 ml 2-4 times a day. Use after dilution with water.
