Sudafed Muco cough wet, McNeil Products / Johnson & Johnson
indications:
Symptomatic treatment of productive cough in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Composition:
5 ml of solution contains 100 mg guaifenesin; the solution contains: ethanol, cochineal red, sodium, Glucose, fructose. 5 ml of syrup contains 100 mg guaifenesin; syrup contains: ethanol, glucose, sucrose.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to guaifenesin or to any of the excipients.
Precautions:
Pregnancy and lactation:
Do not use during pregnancy unless the benefits to the mother outweigh the risks to the fetus. It is not known whether guaifenesine is excreted in human milk.
Side effects:
Not known: hypersensitivity reactions (including rash and urticaria), discomfort in the stomach and intestines, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults and adolescents aged> 12 years: 200 mg (10 ml) 4 times daily. The maximum daily dose is 800 mg.
