The preparation is traditionally used in the symptoms of inflammation of the mouth and throat: hoarseness, coughing, for example in the course of colds and in irritations and inflammation of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat.
Composition:
100 g syrup contains 36 g of water macerate with 5 g of marshmallow root. The product contains ethanol, sucrose and benzoic acid.
Action:
The effectiveness of the preparation is based only on long-term use and experience. The product has a protective effect on the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat, soothes inflammation and irritation.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients, including benzoic acid.
Precautions:
Caution should be exercised in patients with asthma, due to the benzoic acid content. The product contains ethanol (not more than 1% v / v). The preparation contains sucrose - the preparation should not be used in patients with fructose intolerance, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, and caution should be exercised in patients with diabetes mellitus.
Pregnancy and lactation:
There are no data on the safety of use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Side effects:
People who are particularly sensitive to benzoic acid may experience stimulated salivation and stomach irritation.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults and adolescents ≥13. 10 ml up to 6 times a day. Children 6-12. 5 ml to 5 times a day. Children 3-6. 5 ml to 3 times a day.
