indications:
Preparation for radiological examination, endoscopy or colon surgery (bowel cleansing).
Composition:
45 ml of solution contains 24.4 g of sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate and 10.8 g of sodium dihydrogen phosphate (sodium content is 5 g / 45 ml of the preparation).
Action:
A medicine with a laxative effect. It increases the osmotic pressure of the intestinal contents, retains water in the lumen of the intestine and causes its stretching, which stimulates peristalsis and causes emptying of the intestine.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Constipation. Bowel obstruction. Gastrointestinal perforation. A known or suspected obstacle in the digestive tract. Congestive heart failure. Clinically significant renal insufficiency. Congenital or acquired dilation of the colon. Active intestinal inflammation. Nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain. Ascites. It should not be used in children under 15 years of age.
Precautions:
Particularly caution should be used in high-risk patients: elderly, debilitated patients, patients with impaired renal function, heart disease, acute myocardial infarction, unstable angina, colostomy or ileostomy, electrolyte disturbances and diet with low sodium content, due to the possibility of hyperphosphatemia, hypocalcaemia, hypokalemia, hypernatremia dehydration or acidosis. In these patients, the benefit-risk ratio should be carefully considered before the application, and the electrolyte concentration - starting and after application. Preventing dehydration - insufficient fluid supply when using laxatives can lead to excessive fluid loss and subsequently result in dehydration and hypovolaemia. The patient should be informed that in the absence of a bowel movement within 6 hours after taking the preparation, discontinue use and contact a physician, as dehydration may occur.
Pregnancy and lactation:
It must not be used during pregnancy unless clearly necessary. You should not breast-feed your baby for 24 hours after taking a second dose of cleansing solution.

Often: vomiting, anomalies in the colonoscopic picture (or multiple, point, aft-like lesions located in the esicho-prosthetic segment); pain in the chest; Headache. Uncommon: dehydration. Very rare: myocardial infarction, arrhythmia; hypersensitivity; hyperphosphatemia, hypocalcaemia, hypokalemia, hypernatremia, metabolic acidosis, tetany; muscle cramps; paresthesia, loss of consciousness; acute renal failure, kidney limb; allergic dermatitis.
