Composition:
100 ml of the preparation contains 14 g sodium dihydrogen phosphate and 5 g sodium hydrogen phosphate.
Action:
Hypertonic solution of sodium phosphate salts with laxative effect. Preparation by osmotic effects in the lumen of the large intestine prevents absorption of water causing softening fecal masses. Increasing the volume and softening of faecal masses stimulates the defecation reflex.

Suspicion of perforation, obstruction and ulcerative colitis. Severe general condition, heart disease, congestive heart failure. Severe renal failure. Hypertension. Inflammation of the appendix. Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting with an undetermined cause. Pregnancy. Children under 3 years old. Dehydration patients.
Precautions:
Exercise caution in children aged 3-5 years, in patients with artificial anus, in patients with primary or secondary electrolyte disturbances (electrolyte monitoring recommended), in patients with impaired renal function and those who receive diuretics and drugs that can cause water-electrolyte disorders, as well as in the elderly. Monitor the bowel movement of the child, stopping the rectal solution may cause dehydration. The preparation should be given to unconscious patients, patients with limited consciousness and heart disease only in the presence of qualified personnel. Do not use the product with force, as the intestinal wall may be damaged.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The product is contraindicated in pregnancy due to the risk of electrolyte disturbances. There is no information on the use during breastfeeding.
Side effects:
Rare: transient hypocalcaemia and hypernatremia leading to dehydration; abnormal bowel function (with frequent use).
Dosage:
Rectally. Adults: about 120-150 ml. Children 3-12 years: 60-90 ml. The preparation should be used in the evening on the day preceding the examination or surgery and on the day of surgery.
