Pregnancy and lactation:
Do not use during pregnancy unless clearly necessary. There is no information on the penetration of the drug into breast milk, but the risk of impact on the child is unlikely at therapeutic doses.
Side effects:
Common: headache, paresthesia, hyposthesia, bradycardia, tachycardia, low blood pressure, facial edema. Uncommon: increased blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, pruritus. Rare: allergic reactions and in more severe cases anaphylactic shock, nervousness, anxiety, facial nerve palsy, epileptic seizures, dizziness, agitation, confusion, tremors, diplopia, mydriasis, eyelid drooping, miosis and collapse of the eyeball, decreased myocardial contractility , cardiac arrest, angioedema, tissue necrosis. After injecting articaine, an extended break in nerve conduction may occur. The ability to feel returns usually within 8 weeks.
Dosage:
