Local anesthesia (ascites and nerve blocks) for all conservative and surgical procedures in dentistry.
Composition:
1 ml of solution contains 20 mg Lidocaine hydrochloride (1 cartridge 1.8 ml contains 36 mg lidocaine hydrochloride).
Action:
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to lidocaine or any of the components of the drug.

Do not use during pregnancy.
Side effects:
Adverse reactions depend on the dose and may be due to high blood levels of the drug resulting from overdose, rapid absorption or accidental injection into the blood vessels may also be due to hypersensitivity, idiosyncrasy or reduced patient tolerance. Common: nausea, vomiting. Rarely: stimulation of the CNS with a state of excitement, tremors, confusion, dizziness, mydriasis, accelerated metabolism and elevated body temperature (after very large doses: lacrimation and convulsions), vasodilation, hypertension, arrhythmia, bradycardia, acceleration of breath, enlargement bronchi. Very rare: allergic reactions (in the most severe cases, anaphylactic shock). Not known: skin lesions, urticaria, swelling, sweating.
Dosage:
1 to 2 ml or more, depending on the needs of the surgery, percutaneously or as a blockage of the peripheral nerve. The anesthetic solution should be injected in small doses at a rate of about 1 ml / min after prior aspiration. In a healthy adult who has not received sedation, the maximum dose administered once or in several consecutive injections over a period of no more than 120 minutes is 300 mg lidocaine hydrochloride. On a body weight basis, the maximum dose of lidocaine should not exceed 4.4 mg / kg, with a maximum total dose of 300 mg. Do not give more than the content of 8.3 cartridge. In children, the given doses should be reduced depending on body weight and age.
