Mild depressive mood disorders.
Composition:
1 tabl powl. contains 184 mg of dry extract from St John's wort (3.6-5: 1).
Action:
A plant preparation with mild anti-depressant effect. The mechanism of action is probably the inhibition of monoamine oxidase (MAO) and catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) - enzymes responsible for the catabolism of biogenic amines.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients and UV radiation. Do not use with cyclosporin, Digoxin, amprenavir, indinavir and other protease inhibitors, irinotecan and other cytostatic drugs.
Precautions:
The preparation may cause sensitization to sunlight, especially in people with fair skin, therefore during treatment, direct exposure to sunlight and other sources of UV radiation (solarium) is not recommended. It is recommended to use the drug as a monotherapy. A 2-week interval should be maintained between the use of the preparation and the administration of other antidepressants. Due to the lack of data on the safety of use, the use in children and adolescents up to 18 years is not recommended.
Pregnancy and lactation:

Side effects:
Gastrointestinal disorders, allergic reactions, fatigue and anxiety. Sensitive to light, characterized by the appearance of skin lesions (rash, erythema occurring 24 hours after UV irradiation) may occur in particularly sensitive people and overdose. The preparation should then be discontinued.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults: 1 tabl. 2 times a day; taken immediately after a meal. The therapeutic effect is expected after 10-14 days of treatment. The preparation should be used systematically for several weeks (if there is no improvement after 4 weeks of use, treatment should be discontinued).
