Table. 40 mg and 80 mg. Cerebrovascular disturbances with the following symptoms: obstructed mental concentration, memory disorders, dizziness and headache, tinnitus, hearing and visual impairment. Disorders of peripheral circulation, accompanied by disorders in the blood supply to the lower limbs (feeling cold and pain in the feet).Table. 114 mg. Weakness of memory and mental ability related to age. Helpful in cerebral circulation disorders (with symptoms of dizziness, tinnitus). As an aid to patients performing the recommended exercise program in the treatment of nonspecific peripheral arteritis with symptoms of intermittent claudication.
Composition:
1 tabl powl. contains 40 mg, 80 mg or 114 mg of dry extract from ginkgo leaves. The tablets contain lactose. Table. 114 mg also contain glucose.
Action:
Extract from Ginkgo Biloba increases tissue tolerance, especially of the brain, for hypoxia. It inhibits the formation of cerebral and retinal edema and accelerates the resorption of these edema. It reduces the age-dependent reduction of cholinergic receptors and α adrenergic receptors2. It has a positive effect on the ability to learn and remember. It improves the rheological properties of blood and removes the constriction of the blood vessels, thereby reducing the viscosity of the blood and increasing the microcirculation of tissues. Cmax in the blood is achieved after 2-3 h. T0,5 is 2-4 hours.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.
Precautions:
In case of hypersensitivity symptoms, the drug should be discontinued. Particularly cautiously used in patients prone to bleeding (patients with blood coagulation disorders, hemophilia) and with history of bleeding. In the case of a planned surgical or dental procedure, it is recommended to discontinue the use of the product at least 36 h before the planned procedure. Table. 114 mg should not be used in children or adolescents. Dosage:
Orally.Table. 40 mg and 80 mg. Brain circulation disorders: 80 mg 2-3 times a day. Peripheral circulation disorders: 80 mg twice daily. Primary therapy should last 8-12 weeks, the first symptoms of improvement usually occur after 4 weeks. After the main treatment, it is recommended to continue taking the drug at a dose of 40 mg or 80 mg 1-2 times a day.Table. 114 mg. Adults: 1 tabl. 2 times a day.Patients with impaired memory and mental performance related to age and patients with cerebral circulation disorder (with symptoms of dizziness, tinnitus): the first signs of improvement usually appear after 3 weeks; if the symptoms worsen or after 30 days of using the preparation, there is no improvement, please consult your doctor; it is possible to extend the treatment to 3 months, if the patient's condition allows.Patients performing the recommended physical exercise program with non-specific peripheral vascular disease with symptoms of intermittent claudication: effects of the drug are observed after many weeks of treatment (in clinical trials, they were observed after 10-12 weeks).
