indications:
Antiseptic for disinfecting superficial damage to the skin, mucous membranes and skin, for use in purulent skin and mucous membrane infections, certain mycoses and yeast infections.
Composition:
100 g of the solution contains 0.5 g of methylrosylanilic chloride.
Action:
Dye with antiseptic properties. It mainly works on Gram-positive bacteria and some pathogenic fungi, especially yeasts. Antiseptic effect of dye results from inhibition of glycolysis in microbial cells, inhibition of DNA replication and inhibition of mitochondrial activity and increases with increasing pH of the environment. The preparation has astringent and drying effect.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Porphyria.
Precautions:
Do not use for eyes, for granulation wounds or ulcerative lesions on the face.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The preparation can be used during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Side effects:
Prolonged and frequent use, especially in children, may cause irritation or ulceration of the skin or mucous membranes in direct contact with the preparation. After application of the preparation in children in cases of oral mucositis, there have been reports of respiratory distress associated with severe irritation of the upper respiratory tract mucous membranes.
