Antiseptic for the decontamination of superficial skin or skin defects, for use in purulent skin infections or some mycoses and yeast infections.
Composition:
100 g of the solution contains 1 g of methylrosaniline chloride.
Action:
Dye with antiseptic properties. It mainly works on Gram-positive bacteria and some pathogenic fungi, especially yeasts. Antiseptic effect of dye results from inhibition of glycolysis in microbial cells, inhibition of DNA replication and inhibition of mitochondrial activity and increases with increasing pH of the environment. The preparation has astringent and drying effect.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Porphyria.
Precautions:
Do not use for eyes, mucous membranes and wounds, for granulation wounds or ulcerative lesions in the face.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The preparation can be used during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Side effects:
Prolonged and frequent use, especially in children, may cause irritation or ulceration of the skin that comes into direct contact with the preparation.
