indications:
Isotonic dehydration regardless of the cause (caused by, among others, vomiting, diarrhea, fistulas). Equalizing the volume of fluids in hypovolaemia caused by burns and losses of water or electrolytes after surgery. Initial filling of the vascular bed in hemorrhagic shock. As a diluent or solvent for drugs and electrolyte concentrates that do not show incompatibility.
Composition:
100 ml of solution contains 601 mg of sodium chloride, 30 mg of potassium chloride, 15.1 mg of Calcium chloride, 310 mg of sodium lactate, 109.58 mmol of chlorides. Osmolarity is 274 mOsm / l, pH 6.0-7.5.
Action:
Isotonic electrolyte solution with an ionic composition similar to the composition of extracellular fluid. It fills the vascular bed and restores water and electrolyte balance.
Contraindications:
Overhydration. Lactic acidosis. Congestive heart failure. Hypernatremia. Hyperchloremia. Conditions that require restrictions on sodium intake (eg severe renal failure, pulmonary edema). Liver failure. Increased blood lactate concentration. Hyperkalemia. Hypercalcemia. Simultaneous use of digitalis and potassium-sparing glycosides. Do not give intramuscularly. The product should not be administered with blood through the same transfusion set (risk of clotting).
Precautions:
Pregnancy and lactation:
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, use if definitely necessary.
Side effects:
The following may occur: fever, infection at the injection site, venous thrombosis or phlebitis spreading from the injection site, extravasation and hypervolaemia (indications for immediate interruption of the infusion). Metabolic alkalosis may occur. Excessive intake of the preparation, especially in elderly patients or with cardiovascular disease may cause heart failure and pulmonary edema.
Dosage:
Intravenous drip infusion (into the vena cava or peripheral veins): depending on the patient's condition, age, body mass and laboratory test results. Infusion rate: 2.5 ml / kg / h. The maximum daily dose: 40 ml / kg
