Composition:
1000 ml of solution contains 5.55 g of sodium chloride, 0.3 g of potassium chloride, 0.37 g of Calcium chloride (dihydrate), 0.2 g of Magnesium chloride (hexahydrate), and 5.05 g of sodium lactate.
Action:
Isotonic solution with an electrolyte composition similar to the composition of extracellular fluid. The product is used to correct disturbances of acid-base balance and electrolyte deficiencies in the blood. In addition, sodium lactate, present in the solution, has a mild alkalising effect. The solution contains the following ion concentrations: 140 mmol / L sodium, 4 mmol / L potassium, 2.5 mmol / L Calcium, 1 mmol / L Magnesium, 106 mmol / L chloride, 45 mmol / L lactate. The theoretical osmolarity of the solution is 299mOsm / l, pH 4.5-7.5.

Precautions:
Particularly cautiously used in hypertonic dehydration, hyperkalemia, hypernatremia, renal failure associated with hyperkalemia, in disorders where it is advisable to reduce sodium intake (circulatory failure, generalized edema, pulmonary edema, hypertension, eclampsia, severe renal failure) and patients receiving corticosteroids and digitalis glycosides.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The preparation can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. In the case of pregnancy poisoning, the preparation should be used with extreme caution.
Side effects:
Hyperchloremia or hypervolaemia may occur during administration of the preparation and adverse reactions due to the route of administration (venous thrombosis or phlebitis at the injection site, extravasation).
Dosage:
Intravenous drip infusion. Individual dosage depending on the patient's clinical condition, age and body weight, on the current demand for fluids and electrolytes. The infusion rate is usually 5 ml / kg m.c./h which corresponds to 1.7 drops / kg m.c./min. The maximum daily dose is 40 ml / kg m / day.
