A compound from the group of B Vitamins (vitamin B5) in the form of a calcium salt. Pantothenic acid is part of Coenzyme A, which is necessary in many metabolic processes, especially the transformation of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Takes part in the body's growth processes, affects skin regeneration, hair and nails growth. It also has a low anti-inflammatory and epidermal sealing effect. It is easily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and permeates all tissues, including breast milk. 70% is excreted unchanged in the urine, the remaining part with faeces.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.
Precautions:
Do not use a dose higher than recommended especially in patients with hypercalcaemia, kidney stones, kidney problems. Due to the lactose content, the preparation should not be used in patients with rare hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency (Lappa type) or malabsorption of glucose-galactose.
Pregnancy and lactation:
The preparation can be used during pregnancy and lactation only in cases when the benefit for the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or child.

Orally. Adults: 1-2 tabl. 2-3 times a day. Children from 4 years: 1 tabl. 2-4 times a day.
