indications:
Prophylaxis and deficiencies of B Vitamins in periods of increased demand (as an auxiliary in the treatment of fevers, burns, alcohol wasting). Recovery period after diseases or stress. Supportive in: gastrointestinal diseases with malabsorption, digestive disorders, also accompanied by long-lasting diarrhea; inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes (eg lips, mouth); disorders of the peripheral nervous system (polyneuritis); when taking diuretic drugs; after antibiotic therapy; before and after surgical procedures, in chronic and debilitating diseases (diabetes, infections of various etiologies, skin inflammations, psychosomatic diseases).
Composition:
1 tabl coated contains 3 mg of vitamin B1, 5 mg of vitamin B2, 5 mg of vitamin B6, 40 mg of vitamin PP and 5 mg of Calcium pantothenate. The tablets contain lactose, sucrose and quinoline yellow.
Action:
A group of water-soluble vitamins from group B, involved in metabolic processes. They participate in processes taking place in the organism at the cellular level, including in tissue respiration and changes of mediators o.u.n. Their deficiency causes disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system, skin and mucous membranes, cardiovascular system. All active substances in the preparation are water-soluble, well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and do not accumulate in the body. Excretion occurs in the urine.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to B vitamins or other ingredients. Do not use in patients treated with levodopa without a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor. Do not use in patients with rare hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency (Lapp type) or malabsorption of glucose-galactose. Patients with rare hereditary disorders associated with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency should not take the preparation.
Precautions:
Caution should be exercised in people with impaired renal function, kidney stones, hypercalcaemia.
Pregnancy and lactation:
B vitamins can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding at the recommended doses. During pregnancy, the dose of 50 mg of vitamin B should not be exceeded6 daily, due to the possibility of a vitamin B addiction syndrome6 in children of women who take large doses of Pyridoxine during pregnancy. After childbirth, convulsions may occur in the newborn due to dependence on this vitamin in fetal life.
Side effects:
Vitamin PP. Not known: hypersensitivity reactions, flushing; in individual cases: burning and redness of the skin, rash, erythema of the face, urticaria; high doses may cause headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite and liver problems. Vitamin B1: Hypersensitivity reactions may very rarely occur. Vitamin B2: may cause a dark yellow color of urine; Occasionally, you may experience cutaneous sensitization, nausea and vomiting. Vitamin B6high doses (> 2 g / day used for 2 months and longer) may induce peripheral neuropathies.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults and youth: 1 tabl. Three times a day; children from 4 yo: 1 tabl. 1-2 times a day.
