Precautions:
Solutions for parenteral administration should be prepared under aseptic conditions. Due to the risk of intravascular hemolysis, water for parenteral use can not be administered intravenously in excess of 50 ml as or without the addition of substances significantly increasing the osmolarity of the mixture to at least half of the normal plasma osmolarity. For example, it can be infused into a vein with at least equal volume of isotonic NaCl (0.9%) or Glucose (5%).
