NATURAL DRUGS FOR THE TREATMENT OF OBESITY AND A METABOLIC ASSAY
Modern natural medicines are usually a set of plant and animal compounds as well as vitamins and minerals or living organisms such as, for example, probiotic bacteria. Let us discuss selected natural medicines that support the treatment of obesity and the metabolic syndrome

5. WHITE MORWA REDUCES SUGAR AND CHOLESTEROL LEVELS
6. CHROME NORMALIZES GLUCOSE LEVEL - STRENGTHENING INSULIN ACTION
7. BIOTYNA SUPPORTS COMBUSTION OF CALORIA
8. NIACYNA REDUCES CHOLESTEROL LEVEL
9. NECESSARY UNCOATED FATTY ACIDS (EFAs) LOWER THE CHOLERTEROL AND PROTECT THESE?
10. ALFA ACID - LIPON SUPPORTS TREATMENT OF DIABETICS AND OBESITY
The role in natural medicines in the treatment of obesity and the metabolic syndrome:
● Support digestive processes
● Support weight loss - blocking the absorption of fat (eg plant sterols) and carbohydrates (inulin)
● They support the treatment of the metabolic syndrome - they modify the healthy metabolism and prevent its dangerous complications.
● Normalize the functions of the digestive system: prevent digestive disorders and intestinal inflammations; cleanse the intestines and support bowel movements.
● They exert systemic metabolic and health effects
● An additional advantage of these drugs are few side effects and not harmful to health. As well as the possibility of chronic use, without the immunization of pathogens and the body on their therapeutic mechanism.
8. NECESSARY UNCOATED FATTY ACIDS (EFAs) LOWER THE CHOLERTEROL AND PROTECT THESE?
Why are they essential for health?
The human and animal body is able to synthesize all saturated and only monounsaturated acids, but can not synthesize polyunsaturated acids, which are necessary for the growth and regeneration of all body tissues, because they are a component of cellular membranes and condition normal cell metabolism and numerous physiological activities. Particularly valuable are linoleic acid (LA) and alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which are found in certain food oils, e.g. sunflower, linseed, etc. These compounds also play an important role in the blood and lipid metabolism of the body. They enable active migration of lipid compounds in the blood plasma, they are also transformed into prostaglandins and their derivatives, preventing blood clots and progression of atherosclerosis. That is why they were called essential unsaturated fatty acids - abbreviated as EFA.
The pro-healthy role of omega 3 omega 3 fish acids
In 1971, the well-known researcher Dyerberg announced that Eskimos were less likely than corpses of larger cities to suffer from coronary heart disease, asthma, atherosclerosis, breast and colon cancer - because they feed on marine fish. These fish (including mackerel, cod, herring, tuna, salmon) contain fish oil (fish oil). There are two main fatty acids in fishmeal: eicosapentaenoic acid - EPA and docosahexaenoic acid - DHA. In many serious scientific studies, it has been shown that they outweigh the biological activity of plant EFAs - including linoleic acid (LA) and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) - forming the so-called group 6 or omega 6.The special effects of these acids on the human body are: a significant reduction in elevated blood pressure, lowering cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood plasma, protecting the liver and increasing its efficiency, inhibiting platelet aggregation, preventing inflammation in the arteries and enhancing the activity of the nervous system.
Efficacy of EFAs - data collected by doc. dr hab. farms. Aleksandra Ożarowski
The International Panel of Experts from Lipids recommends that fish fat be consumed in the proportion of 2 parts in relation to 1 part vegetable fats. There are also competing recommendations for this ratio to be 1: 1. In American literature it is usually recommended to take up to 2 g of EFA as a mixture of omega 3 and omega 6 in the ratio of 2: 1 in the form of preparations with a standard content of major fatty acids. It is also encouraged to consume marine fish and vegetable oils not refined but cold pressed, especially linseed oil containing alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) belonging to the omega 3 group and evening primrose or borage oil, in which is gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) on outstanding pro-health properties, belonging to the omega 6 group. They are concerned about the study of EFA consumption statistics. In Canada, the average dose of EFAs in standard popular foods consumed by most residents is only 100-150 mg, in Poland no more. This is not enough.
9. ALFA-LIPONIC ACID ASSISTS TREATMENT OF DIABETES AND OBESITY [10]
Health-promoting effect of alpha-lipoic acid
Alpha-lipoic acid is a powerful antioxidant, which protects fats (lipids) from harmful to tissues and arteries by oxidation leading to toxicity. Its presence in the body, including blood, inhibits the oxidation of fats and cholesterol - thanks to which it protects the circulatory system of blood against atherosclerosis. Because it dissolves in water and in fats, it acts as an antioxidant both at the level of cell membranes as well as in the cells and tissues themselves. It strengthens the action of other popular antioxidants - including vitamins A, C and E.
Supports the treatment of diabetes, obesity and metabolic syndrome
Alpha-lipoic acid enhances the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids - which helps in the treatment of diabetes and facilitates slimming. For normalizing the level of sugar in the blood (blood glucose) it contributes to supporting the transformation of glucose into the neutral for the body glycogen stores in the liver. Alphaliponic acid also increases the sensitivity of cells to insulin, which replaces the synthetic drug - metamorphine.
Healing effects
Thanks to its beneficial effects on the metabolism of cellular transformation of glucose into glycogen - it significantly reduces the level of glucose in the blood. As a result, it has prophylactic properties to prevent dangerous complications of diabetes such as: neuropathy and diabetic foot. In a unique several-month clinical trials of the use of alpha-lipoic acid, it has been documented that alpha-lipoic acid reduces the symptoms of diabetic neuropathy and improves the so-called feeling of the body and probably reduces the risk of diabetic foot. It reduces the so-called subjective symptoms of diabetic neuropathy, i.e. feelings of numbness and burning on the surface of the skin. In clinical observations, the patients treated with this agent also had a significant reduction in glycaemia. In addition, alpha-lipoic acid by increasing the rate of glucose and fat metabolism contributes to the reduction of body fat. Thanks to these properties, using alpha-lipoic acid, coupled healing effects are achieved - it normalizes the blood sugar level (glycaemia) and supports the treatment of obesity and the metabolic syndrome.
