Healing, skilfully guided fasting is very useful for health
This type of fasting gives the body a rest period for cleansing and necessary regeneration. This is especially necessary for the liver and digestive system, because the digestive mechanism uses a lot of energy, and the post, on the contrary - not much. During its lifetime, the entire energy of the body can be used for health and regeneration purposes. In addition, fasting gives time to remove accumulated internal poisons. This is especially important for the liver, when its ability to cleanse the body under the influence of excess food toxins is exhausted. The advantage of fasting also applies to the immune system.
Of particular importance in the development of many disorders of health and diseases is the so-called visceral fat tissue. Obesity initiates such diseases as: diabetes, hypertension and lipid disorders, spine diseases and many more. That is why it is worth taking the trouble of rational weight loss!
On the first day of fasting
- the body uses sugar reserves from glycogen and fat.
On the second day of fasting
- the amino acids of the body are processed by the liver for the nutrition of the brain.
On the third day of fasting
- the liver changes the so-called storage fat in ketone compounds, which in small amounts are important for the nutrition of the brain, heart and muscles as energetic substances. Usually at this time fasting people lose their sense of hunger and feel the flow of energy, and the brightness of the mind also increases. About 1 kilogram of body weight is lost then. Later, when fat from the body is more and more intensively used as an energy fuel, toxins released into the bloodstream associated with the metabolism of fat burning and then removed through the liver and kidneys.
A three-day fast is recommended.
The duration of the post depends, however, on the individual condition. If it should be longer, you should get help from a dietician. During the fasting, you should drink various fruit and vegetable juices or mixed juices. It is preferable to prepare them yourself at home with fresh fruits and vegetables, because then you will avoid the liver-heavy preservatives. When we start fasting, we first need to gradually reduce meals, and after finishing fasting gradually increase the amount of food consumed and their frequency within three to four days.
Adverse symptoms of fasting
During fasting, when the body is intensely detoxicating, many people experience symptoms of general feeling of tiredness, headache, halitosis, sometimes nausea and itching of the skin. You do not need to treat these symptoms as harmful and stop fasting - on the contrary, you should abstain from the understanding that the release of toxins from the systemic connections and that they are currently removed from the body. The degree of intensity of these symptoms and their duration is to a large extent a measure of the amount of toxins accumulated in the body and the strength of physiological detoxifying agents. Analogous symptoms of "alleged intoxication" have been known for a long time when we take vegetable detoxifying preparations, eg "blood-cleansing" herbs.
